Background Reading Material

- “Building a Healthy Community Ecosystem “ by Robert P. Maloney CM. Maloney writes of the critical need in religious life today for superiours who are real animators of their communities, and presents five moments that are essential for healthy local communities.
- "Trends in Religious Life: where have we been and where are we going?" A presentation by Master General Glen Lewandowski, O.S.C. given to the ad hoc Commission for Formation, July-August 2006. This presentation will discuss recent trends in consecrated life: Beginning with the preparations for the Second Vatican Council up to the present. Studying trends might also be a way to talk about ‘reading the signs of the times’. Although I do not intend to be exhaustive or thorough, rather I wish to highlight the significant issues that impinge on our present circumstances and that give rise to serious thought among religious members themselves.
Bulletin suggestions are welcome.
